This has nothing to do with Venture Capital or Technology, but it is just too good not to share. A friend just sent me a link to this YouTube video. This original recording is from 1957! If you have to ask why I'm excited about this don't bother reading the next paragraph.

On a related topic check out this clip of two Brazilian street artists performing a call-response style rap called Repente. I first saw this performance on film at the Smithsonian in 2001 and the cadence stuck in my head. A few years later I was excited to hear this song by Punjabi MC go mainstream (with the help of Jay-Z). It may just be me, but the beat is clearly the same and the rap cadences are very similar. Fun to think about Brazilian street music and Indian Hip-Hop converging.
